Notion of Motion

Location: Port Tonic, France

Term: Summer 2013

A nautical center located in the paradisal southern French coast, this project aims to welcome in a wide variety of users. Individuals who own boats may dock them here and take full advantage of the restaurant, hotel, or art gallery on site. Notion of Motion also invites those who wish to view European art and sculptures, dine by the Mediterranean, or simply wish to walk along the exceptional scenery. A wave like residential volume rests upon the previously built structures which have been redesigned to accommodate the new program.
